Back to School
This is a reminder about our Chromebook pick-up days. There are specific details below. Please remember that students are expected to use a FSSD-issued Chromebook for their remote/virtual learning. Since we have divided each grade into two groups, we hope we can move you along quickly. The following attachments will be required to be completed by parents prior to the issuance of a Chromebook.
- Parent Agreement – COVID
- Technology Agreement (page 1 of the parent tutorial packet)
- Zoom Agreement
Although we have attached the documents, copies will be available at school when you arrive to pick-up your student’s materials. We do ask, if at all possible, that you bring your own pen to fill out the forms.
Teachers will begin communicating information sometime from August 6 – 9. Once they begin providing specific expectations about what remote/virtual learning looks like in their classroom, more of your questions will be answered. Our office hours the remainder of this week are 8am – 3:30pm if we can assist you in any way. Beginning August 10th, our office hours will be 7am-3:30pm. Please adhere to the CDC protocols posted on the front office door prior to entry. Additionally, please wear a face covering. Your support of these requests is very much appreciated.
Chromebook/Additional Resource Materials Pick-up Schedule
August 6th for 8th graders

August 7th for 7th graders

- It is necessary for ALL STUDENTS (virtual or remote/in-person) to have their Chromebooks and other resources picked up on these days.
- It is only necessary that one parent/guardian be present to pick up the Chromebook and other resources. Students should not come. The fewer people we have on campus, the quicker we can proceed while maintaining physical distancing.
- All students need to have an FSSD-issued Chromebook to complete their remote or virtual learning.
- If you have students in both grade levels, you will be able to pick up materials for both at the same time.
